Shannon is 'The Illustrator' and Allira is 'The Protagonist' (brother and sister, respectively)
It began the day a four year old girl (our mum) put her foot in it, when she exclaimed to her elderly neighbour: 'My mum says you're a funny old stick!'
Twenty-five years later she gave birth to a son named Shannon, who received a powerful gene for incredible drawing skills and miraculously managed to squirm his way (it's believed within the womb) out of having only a minute amount of 'awkward' genes. In turn he selflessly left them for the youngest child, who was born a year later, her name was Allira. Allira received the bulk (approx 93.5%) of 'awkward' genes.
It was only a matter of time, but in the (Australian) Winter months of 2013 a blog was born. This blog documents the awkward or just plain silly anecdotes of unfortunate (or fortunate, depends which way you look at it really) random moments of Allira and illustrated by Shannon.
Occasionally, a few of stories will include both of us or just Shannon… we'll mix it up and keep you on your tippy toes!
